Origin: Native to Asia, now cultivated in France, Italy,
Paraguay, Spain, Brazil

Colour: Pale Yellow
Smell: Fresh-floral, sweet odour, with a slightly woody-
herbaceous undertone and very faint but sweet-floral dry out
Extraction: Steam distillation from the orange leaves
Therapeutic Uses:
Petigrain is an important raw material for perfumery, especially for
Eau de Cologne and for scenting soaps.
Skin: Acne, oily skin, dandruff and perspiration, deodorant
Nervous: Stress, depression, sadness, anger, panic,
convalescence, PMT, insomnia (stemming from
loneliness).
Respiratory: Asthma brought on by nervousness, anxiety or
irritability
Digestive: Is a digestive and antispasmodic and is recommended
for the treatment of dyspepsia, flatulence.
Methods of Use: Use in the burner, bath or body blends. Mix with
carrier oils, lotions and ointments. Direct inhalation. Compress.
Safety: Petitgrain oil is non-toxic, non-irritating & non-sensitising.
